CMG S.p.A. manufactures granulators and shredders for grinding up extruded materials.

During the industrial process of extrusion, thermoplastic pastes are forced by compression through a die to create products such as tubes, bars and profiles. 

It the cross-section of the product is hollow a mandrel is required to produce the shape of the internal cavity. This process transforms the following materials into finished products:

• polyvinyl chloride (PVC )
• polyethylene (PE)
• polypropylene (PP)
• pex-al-pex multilayer tubes
• high density polyethylene (HDPE)
