Injection molding scrap grinding
CMG S.p.A. manufactures granulators and shredders for grinding up injection molding scrap. During injection molding, plastic materials undergo a fusion process and are then injected into a closed mold at high pressure. On cooling a manufactured article has been produced. This process makes end products from a wide range of technopolymers and other thermoplastic resins, the most common of which are: • polyolefins (PE, PP) • polyamides (PA 6, PA 66, PA 11, PA 12, PAMXD 6, PA 63T) • acetal resins (POM) • polyesters (PET, PBT) • polyphenyl sulphur (PPS) • chlorinated hydrocarbon polymer (PVC) • styrolic resins (MBS, MABS, ABS, SAN, PS) • acrylic resins (PMMA) • polycarbonates (PC) • polyphenol oxidase (PPO) • polyether imides (PEI), polysulfones (PSU)
