CMG S.p.A. supplies granulators and shredders to companies specialized in recovering power cables.  

The cable first undergoes a shredding process to reduce the volume and then metal removal (if required). It is then passed through a granulator to obtain fine granules made up of plastic and copper which can then be sent to a dry separation process to separate the metal from the plastic insulation.
